Chase's Love

Rachel wasn't looking for love. As a matter of fact, she'd written off men altogether as the last thing she wanted in her life was another controlling jerk.  At least that was the plan until the guy of her dreams walked into her life.

Chase Jamison had just got out of the military and was working toward expanding the business he started with his brother and best friends.  He had a goal and he was focused.  Never in a million years did Chase expect to find the sexiest woman on earth at his club.

As Chase and Rachel come together and try to find happiness, one question remains. Will Rachel's ex-lover step in and keep the pair from finding true love?

Guest Author Suzzana C. Ryan

HI Wendy,

Thanks for this great opportunity to answer some questions that some of your friends and ask and want to know.

My favorite book that I have written has to be “Misty Evening”. It is unpublished and will take a while to edit before submission. It is a wonderful, erotic love story between a handsome Vampire named Brian and a beautiful witch called Misty. It has it all, witches, warlocks, werewolves, Vampire and time travel. There is even an amazing surprise that happens for these two lovers.

My current short story “A Vampire for her birthday” will be released by Rebel Ink Press in January 2012. Again, I love the paranormal and erotic loves scenes; I come alive when writing this kind of love story. This short story centers on Tawny, a lovely Fairy with an obvious flaw, and Elliot a gorgeous Vampire.

Most people ask how I come up with the characters. I see them, yes in my head. I daydream all the time and conjure up one gorgeous male after another. Then the heroine appears. She is always strong, sensual, and not sexually challenged and all women. I want my readers to perhaps see themselves here and there when reading one of my very graphic and exciting love scenes. I want my males to make women swoon, I want them to be protective, possessive and in the end so in love with the heroine, we may even weep.

I love erotic romance, and I like calling a “cock a “cock”. Do we think in flowery descriptions? I don’t and most people don’t. Some of my favorite writers do not beat around the bush, no pun, intended when it comes to love scenes. That goes for violence also, Vampires don’t give you bug bites, sometimes they rip your head off.

I have been asked by close friends, if I ever pull from my own experiences when it comes to sex. You never know and all will say is my stories and novels are not biographical. My husband will laugh and shakes his head when he is reviewing a page for me, then will raise an eyebrow and ask when we ever did that. Good thing I love him.

I have loved to read since I learned, see Jane run, see Dick run. I remember reading Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson, and thinking wow. I have read all the Masters, Verne, Dickens, Buck, Bronte and Poe. Gone with the Wind got me started, I read it three times. Then came Forever Amber, that really hit me, but Rosemary’s Baby began my obsession with the paranormal. Last but not least, Dracula, by Bram Stoker and Salem’s Lot by Stephen King and then Rosemary Rogers. All of these wonderful story tellers have had such an influence on me and now my dream has been realized.

I love the color red, adore cats, and will read almost anything. To name one author is almost impossible, but Beatrice Small is the one that comes to mind.

You can find me on my blogs: suzzanacryan.blogspot.com, Face book, suzzanacryan.webs.com (a work in progress).

Merry Christmas to All!

I waited until tonight to post my holiday wishes and kisses to all. I have had a great weekend with my family and really remember what it means to be with them. The devastation they all survived in Joplin, the personal challenges that have come to us all and mostly the forgiveness and love that we share. My mom says best "They can fight among themselves but don't let a stranger interfer" well as yet another Christmas comes to close I want everyone to take an opportunity to look around and remember the reason for the season and the love that you share with another.
Merry Christmas all!!

BUBBLY by Anne Holly

Bubbly: An erotic contemporary romance for New Years

By Anne Holly

Beth’s had the best of everything and the worst of everything. From the outside, a poor little rich girl, hounded by the press, but, on the inside, bruised by dark memories. When she seeks escape from her suffocating world on New Years Eve, she accidentally gets a taste for how the other half lives. Rough bartender Tig Riley offers her a whole new outlook on life in his arms and maybe even a brand new future, if only she can trust him. Can he really help her heal herself?

PG-13 Excerpt…

Beth said nothing, and scanned the crowd. It wouldn’t do for any of the entourage clingers to snap a picture of her standing too long at the open bar with their phone. Pictures of celebrities falling off their various wagons always went for prime prices these days.

“No one’s watching,” he tempted her. “I think you could sneak off.”

“What?” Her eyes widened, and she realized how wonderful that sounded. “It’s my party.”

“It’s your party and you can hide if you want to?” he joked.

She didn’t respond right away. She watched the tiny columns of golden bubbles fight their way to the surface of her soft drink. He made it sound so easy. Was it that easy for people who weren’t raised to be elite in some old-fashioned, capitalist sense?

“I won’t tell,” he said with a smile and snagged his little white apron off. “Join me for a break outside?”

Her eyes were drawn to where the apron had been. His waist was tapered so nicely, emphasized by the crisp, blindingly white tuxedo shirt tucked into the sleek black cut of his trousers. When he reached down under the bar to deposit the cloth, she got a hint of muscled thighs and the coiled strength of his buttocks.

Despite the headache and her usual reserve, somewhere inside she heard a voice squeal something that could only be interpreted as, “Yum! I want some!”

She pulled her eyes away from him and peeked at the crowd again. Suze was more than capable of handling the staff for a while, and some outside air would do her headache good. Or was she just making up reasons to follow him someplace private?

“Sure,” she said, finally. “Thanks.”

“I’m Tig, by the way,” he said as they passed out the back way, through the kitchen. “Tig Riley.”

“Tig?” she asked. She watched him pull on a gray fleece jacket and toss his nylon coat to her, which she gratefully pulled on over her party dress. It smelled of tobacco smoke, winter air and the most appealing after shave she’d ever encountered.

“My mother was Norwegian,” he said. “I think it was supposed to be Trig, but my dad had a bit of a celebration after I was born and got it wrong on the paperwork.”

“Really?” she laughed.

“Yeah,” he confirmed with a grimace. “Why would any grown man lie about having the name Tig?”

ANNE HOLLY!! My Guest

Are You Dreaming of a Hot Christmas?
Good for the Goose, an erotic romance for Christmas by Anne Holly from Rebel Ink!

Successful scholar Dr. Natasha Mintz believes her divorce signaled the end of her romantic life. But when she gets snowed in one Christmas with a young Spanish grad student, she may want to rethink things. For Natasha, winter has never been so hot!

Excerpt...
From the outside, Natasha appeared to be stable, independent, intelligent, formidable even. She was a respected, tenured historian at a large university. Her class was well attended and generally highly rated on campus and her students seemed to like her firm but fair presence. To an observer, Natasha Mintz was a woman who did everything right.
But inside, she was a sad, lonely woman.
“Care for a coffee?” a soft, thickly accented, rich voice drifted over her shoulder, followed by a paper cup of steaming brew held in a masculine, yet graceful hand.
Natasha turned to see her assistant looking disgustingly youthful and fresh despite the ungodly early hour.
“Ah, Raphael,” she whispered. “You’re a godsend!” Gratefully popping off the plastic lid, she took a long, deep draft and prayed it would revive her enough to see her through the next several hours. Now how did he know exactly how she liked her coffee? With two shots of cream and one sugar?
Raphael Salazar was a godsend. He was one of the finest grad students who'd ever worked for her. He was bright, eager and stoic, and hadn’t once whined under the heavy work load she placed on him. In fact, he always seemed able to anticipate the needs of the class. Even when Patricia, her other assistant, was called away to her grandmother’s funeral unexpectedly, Raphael immediately stepped up. There was no doubt he'd do what was needed. Raphael had an aura of competency about him, which was so rare in young graduate students.
Natasha was almost certain he came from a wealthy family as he bore all the marks of breeding and advantage but he clearly wasn’t adverse to hard work, a trait common among the wealthy American-born students she knew. Hailing from Spain, Raphael may have been brought up rich, but he certainly wasn't spoiled.
She took a surreptitious look at him from the safety of her podium, from beneath the lowered fan of her eyelashes. It was little wonder why office rumor had it that every single female, and more than one male, grad student in the history department lived and breathed for Raphael. At five-eleven, his lithe form was exceptional and his face was that of a fallen angel. Black brows like dark wings spread above intense, long-lashes and eyes of an oddly sea-like hue, and topped a long, aristocratic nose which sat above a distractingly sensual Cupid’s bow mouth. An artistic scruff of facial hair gave him a cosmopolitan air. When he spoke, his face was charming and mobile, and that lovely mouth moved to reveal a perfect row of impeccably white teeth. His ready smile brought out such a warm glow and engaging dimples that it was difficult not to swoon. Even his smell, a rich, masculine mixture of coffee and spice, caused rational thought to fly out of one’s head whenever Raphael was near. Yes, Natasha nearly chuckled at the thought. He was likely causing a great deal of fluttering in the student offices. And more than his fair share in the professors’ rooms as well, she reminded herself with a grimace of discomfort.
Perhaps Raphael considered her in ways she should probably discourage. She noticed something in his attentions that differed from that of her other students. Once she spotted him appreciating the slide of her legs against one another as she changed position in her chair during a meeting and the intimate gleam in his dark eyes gave her a sensation of prickly heat. Seeing the look he was giving her, Natasha stopped talking in mid-sentence. He hadn’t looked away in guilt like your average grad student. Instead, he’d slowly pried his gaze from her legs and traveled up to her face, with a calm yet wolfish look on his handsome face. She had tried to dismiss it as continental masculinity, but somehow that didn’t quite cover it.
In any case, this scene was totally inappropriate. Inappropriate, but so extremely arousing.
It was a good thing she was a mature, steady person who'd never consider hitting on a student, unlike her rat of an ex.
A very good thing.

Rebel Writers with a Cause December Event...

Rebel Writers with a Cause December Event...

Picture

What happens when twenty five writers get together with a story idea geared toward helping better one small corner of the world? Meet Kylie Wright and Buster and find out this December in Paw Prints, a brand new story created by Rebel Writers with a Cause. A financial donation will be made to help support the mission of the National Humane Society.

Buster was a bait dog, the kind used to teach others like him to fight to the death. Left for dead on the side of an empty country road, Kylie Wright finds him and sets into motion a whirlwind of events that offer both she and Buster a second chance at life. With his new master and a handsome vet tech, Jason, at his side, Buster might have just found his very own Shangri-La. That is if the people who abused him, the very same people threatening both Kylie and Jason, can be brought to justice.

Will Buster finally have the life and family he deserves or will fate deliver each of them at the feet of the cruel men running the death pit?

INTRODUCING : ANNE HOLLY

Questions for Authors from My Friends:

What is your favorite book that you wrote?
It’s very hard to choose, since they are all like my children in that I see good things in all of them. Strings Attached is my baby since it’s been ten years in the making, but my favourite so far might be Unwrapping Scrooge, my Christmas novella. It’s just so sweet, and the quirky hero is absolutely wonderful (in my opinion).

What book is coming up next and when is the release date?
I have two releases in October 2011, Like Magic (Oct 3) and Charity (Oct 17), and one in December 2011, Bubbly (Dec 3). These are my Halloween, Thanksgiving and New Years installments in my Rebel Ink Press erotic-romance holiday series. After that, who knows?

How do you come up with your stories and characters?
Experience, somewhat. Mostly just my imagination. And my own personality, in terms of characters – in some ways, they all reflect some bit of myself, I think. The stories usually come after the characters, when I try to imagine what made them the way they are. However, sometimes the characters, setting and plot come to me all at once in a big parcel.

Why don’t authors call the parts what they are instead of the descriptions like “hard rock of manliness”?
This is rather a myth, especially with new romance. Perhaps thirty years ago this might have been the case, since people were worried about offending readers, but I don’t see that a lot now. Purple euphemisms are frowned on, today. Women are now considered adults who can handle the real words. Besides, my current books are in erotic-romance, so I can call it all as I see it. People who read them expect to see open, hot sexuality.

Have you ever recreated sex scenes from your past experiences?
I guess, yes and no. I mean, I won’t say whether I’ve tried everything in my books or not, personally, but I find it all sexy or I wouldn’t have written it. Rule number one – write what you want to read.

What was the first book you can remember reading?
The first longish book I can remember reading all by myself was a story called Skags the Milk Horse. His delivery wagon driver slips on ice, and he has to make it back to the dairy to get help. I loved that book. Simple heroism, love and dedication, and the idea that bravery can come from unexpected places – still themes that run in my writing, actually.

Who inspired you to write?
My mum was constantly reading, so that instilled in me a love of books, which was the start. Then, there were many teachers who were so encouraging when they saw I could write well. And, of course, all of the authors I’ve read over the years.

Fun Facts:

Favorite Color:   Depends on my mood. Red, black and green are big ones. Purple is beautiful.

Favorite Pet:    I’m a cat person.

Favorite Author:    Many! In romance, I’d have to say Jane Austen and Emily Bronte.

How do we find you:

I have a website, but my blog is updated much more frequently. I am also found on GoodReads, Twitter (@anneholly2010) and Facebook far more than I should be. You can email me at anneholly2010(at)gmail.com.

The Power of the Pen

I normally wouldn't reach out for something like this except that my family has went through hell with the F5 tornado in Joplin MO. Please see if any of you could help this young woman with words of encouragement.
Her and her family were at her parents when the tornado hit. She had a piece of wood go through her body and it was a miracle that she survived. Her mom had to quit her job to care for her everyday while her husband works. She had a major head injury. Her mom makes her walk to the mailbox everyday for excercise. It is quit a feat for her everyday and takes her a long time to get there. She is terrified of falling! The other day, she finally made it out to the mailbox to find no mail. She broke down crying and frustrated and said, "All that hard work for nothing!" So I want to flood her mailbox with encouraging letters!! Her name is Ashlea Burkhart 3609 E. 13th St. Joplin, Mo 64801
I just think it would brighten her day and make her daily trips to the mailbox a little easier! I know I take my trips to the mailbox for granted, it's easy for me, but to her it's a long hard trip. Thanks so much and please fell free to pass this on to others. You can just mail her one or one a week, anything would be appreciated!! She has had quit a battle to get where she is and she has a long road ahead of her!
Ashlea is married with 2 kids and in her 30's

paraprosdokian - What is this you ask

I learned something today and thought I would pass it on:

paraprosdokian - Figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently used in a humorous situation

Here is one that I found that is funny!!

Introducing Ella Jade!!

Questions for Authors from My Friends:
What is your favorite book that you wrote?

I love them all. They're like my babies, but if I have to choose one, I'll go with my upcoming m/m Embracing the Unexpected. I've absolutely fallen in love with my two main characters.

What book is coming up next and when is the release date?
Up next us The Lonely Dominant.

Successful businessman Alec Carter realizes his life is less than fulfilled when he meets beautiful Princeton University senior Clara Whittaker at a local coffee shop. Alec experiments in the BDSM lifestyle but doesn't consider himself hardcore until he crosses paths with the obviously submissive Clara. The more time Alec spends with young Clara, the more his dominant tendencies push to the surface. She could be what has been missing.

After her grandmother's death, Clara ends up a guest in Alec's home until she can finish school. She quickly learns she's a natural submissive and decides she wants to explore this new side of herself with the man of house. Alec shows her a life she never knew existed as they enter into a world of role playing, fantasy, and desire. Alec may be the Master, but Clara holds the key to his heart.

As the semester comes to an end, so does their arrangement. If Alec doesn't admit his true feelings for Clara, she could walk out of his life forever. But, Alec isn’t sure which she craves more . . . his dominance . . . or his love.
It's scheduled to release on November 14, 2011 with Noble Romance.

How do you come up with your stories and characters.

For as long as I can remember, the dialogue and plots have always played out in my head. I've developed full stories with just a few sentences of conversation. I usually build on that.
Why don’t authors call the parts what they are instead of the descriptions like “hard rock of manliness”?

I don’t use "hard rock of manliness" lol. I think some authors like to get creative when writing the intimate scenes. Some readers enjoy the euphemisms, but I prefer to say it like it is;)
Have you ever recreated sex scenes from your past experiences?

No, but I will admit I've learned an awful lot from reading erotic fiction. So, some of my fiction may make it into the bedroom from time to time.

What was the first book you can remember reading?

My mother always read to me when I was a child. I knew every nursery rhyme by the time I was three. We read lots of Fairy Tales with happily ever afters. Go figure…

Who inspired you to write?
Writing has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I always had a notebook and pen in my hand. The stories inspire me. I love creating the characters and the plots that bring them together.

Fun Facts:
Favorite Color: Black

Favorite Pet: None…my kids are allergic so we steer clear of animals.
Favorite Author: Just one? Can't. Stephen King and Nora Roberts are my top two.

How do we find you:
I love making new friends. You can follow me on my blog http://ellajadeauthor.blogspot.com

WIP = Work In Progress

Let's see we have a couple of WIP right now and some still on the drawing board

Toni's Heart - with Mollie for her magic

Dylann's Long Road Home - still writing that one then Mollie can work her magic

Triple Heat Summer - that one is still on the drawing board I have the basic story written in my little brain but haven't put it on paper

Vet's Tech - that one is a long way from being ready to put anywhere near paper

Wynters Hope - well that will be worked on with a friend Dawnn

Autumn's Fall - not sure on this one it was progressing ok and then I hit the mental delete button on purpose

So I have others that I am working with but haven't gotten far enough to speak of so like fine wine they have to sit and ferment in my oak barrel brain.

Anne Holly

Fun Facts:

Favorite Color:
Depends on my mood. Red, black and green are big ones. Purple is beautiful.

Favorite Pet:
I’m a cat person.

Favorite Author:
Many!

Allison's Dilemma - Unedited Excerpt

“OH crap on a cracker! OK, for the last couple of weeks the guys have been in deep discussion about…well, you, Allison. They know you are attracted to them, not just Mike or Drake but both Mike and Drake.”

Allison looked at Rachel in complete shocked but didn’t say a word so Rachel continued. “So, the four of them have been discussing how to approach you to get you interested in the idea of a ménage. Not the fling kind of ménage, but a full blown French ménage. You do know what that is, don’t you?” Rachel’s eyebrows went up and a look of hope was written all over her face.

“OOOOOOOO!  Pick me! Pick me! Come on, pick me!” Toni being herself was jumping up and down with her hand raised in the air.

Rachel pointed at Toni.  “OK, little girl, what is your answer?”

“Well, a ménage, as most people know it, is just a fling type relationship between three people fucking and having fun. But a French ménage is a household of three. Get it, Allison? They want you to commit to both of them.”

Allison looked at both of the girls with eyes as big around has quarters. “OK, enough of this crap. I am heading to the bathroom to crawl into the tub and I am not coming out until dinner.  Please don’t bother me until then. I love you both but cannot deal right now.” And with that, Allison walked off.

Wonderful Wednesday

Still feel like crap but hopefully will get better, thought I would include an unedited excerpt from Allison's Dilemma.  I can't wait for the cover for this one I am really intersted to see what they do.

Getting Old???

Ok for everyone out there that wants to laugh at me here you go:
Friday I got dressed in the dark (so I wouldnt wake Lou) and went to work as I walked toward my building I looked down and realized I had on one brown flat and one black flat, Yep two different shoes. So I called Lou to bring me my other black shoe. So much for not waking him up. Does this mean I am getting old?

UNEDITED EXCERPT FROM CHASE'S LOVE

UNEDITED EXCERPT FROM CHASE'S LOVE----

Rachel was struggling to get away from his grasp that would end up leaving a huge bruise on her arm.  That was all she needed, a bruise.  Suddenly, Rachel was jerked back to reality when Paul was pulled from her and thrown toward the parking lot.  Shocked, she just melted to the ground scared of what was going too happened next.  When Rachel looked up, Mr. Ice Eyes was looking down at her with a frown on his face and brows tightly drawn together.
“Little one are you ok?” Mr. Ice Eyes gently reached down and helped her up off the ground.

Rachel just wanted to crawl up this man’s body and snuggle in his arms.  Instead she jumped up and ran inside. She got just about to the door when she ran into Allison and Toni.
“What’s wrong?  Are you ok?” Toni turned Rachel around to make her look at her.

“I’m fine. Just a little shook up. I ran into Paul and he decided that I still belonged to him, but then Mr. Ice Eyes showed up and I ran.  I need to go to the ladies room” Rachel said as she walked away with Toni following behind her.
“I don’t know who you are, but Rachel belongs to me.  She is mine, always has been always will be.  We are just having an argument right now and its none of your business.”  Paul stated as he foolishly poked Chase in the chest.  Chase just laughed at the guy, wondering if he really thought treating a beautiful woman that way was the way to keep her.  Nope, absolutely not, women like her deserved to be cherished, loved. Chase could only image those ruby red lips wrapped around his cock, those big brown eyes looking up at me. Damn, he thought, I don’t even know her name.  As Chase turned around his brother and friends came walking out of the club.

Jerked back to reality, Chase hears in the distance a spunky little voice rambling to his buddies, “Oh my gosh, you would not believe that your friend here just saved Rachel.  It was like amazing! Paul is such a dick and here comes your friend and saves the day just like a white knight or black night considering he is wearing all that leather.  Tell me, how can you all move in all that leather? I really don’t understand. Is it completely restricting, not to mention in this heat. Are you all not hot or something?”
Crap did she just say all of that without taking a breath?  “Thank you, I think. Is your friend ok? What is her name?”  Chuckling to himself, Chase was amazed at the ability to talk the way this woman did.

“Her name is Rachel Montgomery, by the way. And I am Allison, but my friends call me Alli. Wow, I can’t believe Paul is such a dick.  Well nice meeting all you gentlemen and thanks again.”

Kick Butt Writing Night

I am a happy person tonight,  I sat down and started to really work on my third book, Toni's Heart.  So far I am sitting at little over 11,700 words.  Mollie said she just finished reading Allison's Dilemma and started reading Book 1 of the Vailant, OK series.  That is going to be a fun one to write, thankfully my partner in pen, Mollie is keeping me on track with the storyline.

Question #3

I asked my friends if they could ask a writer something what would it be here is the first response I had:

Do you write about your past experiences in love, loss and sex?

Question #2 - My Thoughts

Honestly lust came first with me, I saw Lou and knew that he was freaking hot and when we got together we found out that for some strange reason we worked.  We compliment each other nicely we have been through more hell than most but after the dust settles that lust is still there and is being supported but unconditional love.  I have seen most relationships like that die as the lust wears off but thankfully for Lou and I that lust is still remaining.

9/11 - Thankful thoughts

Wow it has been 10 years since that horrible attack on America, I can remember exactly where I was and thankfully my family and friends were safe. God Bless those that died that day and for those that lost family and friends, I hold you and them in my heart.  I can remember sitting in my office in Cabot, AR when we found out, my boss is retired military as well as some of the employees, they instantly got a TV and turned it on.  My first reaction was shock and tears then I just wanted to hold my kids.  Since their school sits directly next to a military base we could not go get them we had to wait and check them out one at a time so the line to the school was long over a mile from the school but the police had the area blocked off and would radio up to the school check out the children.  Our cell phones would not work and traffic was bad but nothing like the hell that was going on in that Pennsylvania field, Pentagon or New York.  GOD BLESS ALL!! Since then we have been at war and many have lost their lives, I have friends that are currently in the middle East and I worry about them daily. May everyone come home safe to their love ones.  I am thankful each day for the life I have and while some may not realize it but as long as they are alive to see another day they to should be thankful.  Within the last 2 months I have been given this wonderful opportunity by Rebel Ink Press to write books for them, my best friend Dawnn says that I have found my theraputic outlet, hmmm who knew I could actually do this and really enjoy it.  Well I am extremely happy for this opportunity and will not forget those that have encouraged me, supported me and cheered me on.  Thank you each and everyone of you, may you life be long and happy!

Question # 2

 Does Love Start As Lust???

Really think about this one if you love someone did that love start as a lust or a did you instantly know that this was the person for you, I am really curious for your opinions so answer honestly and don't hold back!

NEW RELEASE: V Day by Anne Holly

Young violinist Daniel dreams of winning first chair of his university orchestra and finding love. For years, he’s adored the pretty physiotherapist who lives next door to his family home, where he lives with a mother who thinks Jello molds and sweaters are the height of cool and a father who’s never been seen on the other side of a newspaper. Daniel knows he wants his life to be different – passionate and creative. The trouble is, no girl has ever seen him as more than a friend, and the girl next door, Bronwyn, may never see him as anything other than the 14 year old peeking through her shrubs he’d been the day she moved in! One long Valentine’s weekend, a serenade and a whim can change all that. But how can Daniel make forever last more than three days?

Working and writing

I belong to Rebel Ink authors group and I have learned so much from them,  most of them we well seasoned writers who are eager to share their knowledge, thankfully!  I am really glad that I signed with Rebel Ink,  oh and by the way will get to work on Allison's Dilemma this weekend, freaking YEAH!!  I will be posting another question next week so be prepared to give me some great answers again!

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Question #1 - My Thoughts

Well I have thought long and hard about this question before I posted it, so here goes my thoughts -

First - if someone views sex as porn then I guess at some point in all of our lives we have not only seen porn but have participated in it.  Well at least anyone that is married and not a virgin anymore.

Second - erotic romance or adult romance isn't about the "sex" scenes it is just like every other book it is about the story, the characters being able to feel the love that two or more people have between them.  Being able to understand what it is like to love someone through words on paper or a screen.

Third - if you take some of the erotic romance or adult romance writers I will make you a 100% take it to the bank promise that they are better than some of the horror, comedy or mystery writers.  What kind of book can make you laugh, cry, feel love and hot/steamy all at the same time?  Believe me when I say my husband has listened to me literally laugh out loud while reading some books and want to cry when reading others.  If you ask me that is a writer!

So in a nutshell my thought is simple NO, I do not feel that erotic romance should be considered porn, sure it maybe fits in the dictionary definition but so does a lot of other words that are acceptable and used differently in the English language.  To me love isn't just about sex, marriage, and happily everafter it is about the road leading up to the commitment, the feelings between the people in the relationship (M/F, M/M, F/F, M/FM or any other combination there of) so the next time someone wants to point a finger and label someone else they need to look at the other three fingers pointing back at them.

Challenge Question #1

I want to purpose a challenge question to everyone, there is no right and there is no wrong answer just your answer.  The only rule is that you are respectful to others remarks no topic or coment is off limits but I ask for honesty and respect.  Thanks!

#1 Is erotic romance novels actually pornography? and why/why not??

Rachel Montgomery - Chase's Love

Rachel Montgomery is not your typical lady, she has a wonderful personality and is loyal to her friends Allison Cruze and Toni Weston.  She is a hard worker and was very loyal to her live-in boyfriend but we can't say the same about Paul.  After realizing that the realitionship was turning abusive Rachel decided to get out but was it to late?  Does Paul understand the work "NO"? Can Rachel recover from this realtionship?

Stay tuned for the up coming book Chase's Love

WOW What a long day!

I have not written anything in about a week,  my pc had issues and my hubby had surgery on his shoulder today.  He is home and doing well but it has really put a damper in my energy. At least Lou is ok and doing great hopefully with no complications in recovery he will be back up and going in about 2-4 weeks.  Maybe tonight I can write a little on Allison's Dilemma.  Still waiting on the edits for Chase's Love.
